Introduction

The folder that Civil Site Design stores it's data in can be modified using this command.

 

Details

The default location that CSD stores it's data in is a folder with the same name as the drawing file with a suffix of -Data in the same location as the drawing file.

For example:

Note:  The data folder is used by all modules of the Civil Site Design software.

 

Upon selecting the command the following form is displayed:

Save in:	Select location to store the Civil Site Design data.  The folder must exist.
File name:	Leave this set as Dummy Name.txt, this is simply a placeholder to facilitate the Data Folder move.
Save	Move the data to the new Data Folder location.
Cancel	Exit the command without changing the Data Folder.

Once a the Data Folder has been moved, the drawing will contain a reference to the Data Folder location.  The Data Folder location can be displayed at any time using the Show Data Path command and can be reset to the default location using the Reset Data Path command.
