Introduction
This command updates Civil 3D profiles to account for the intersections.
Users are able to edit profiles directly in Civil 3D and use this command to insert all the intersection controls.
This command is premised on the designer firstly using CSD to:
- Create one or more CSD objects (eg: Roads, Kerb Returns, Cul-de-sacs) from the alignments
- Generate the profiles from the Create/Update Civil 3D Profiles command
After using the Civil 3D Profiles command, designers are able to use the profile editing tools on the design profile in AutoCAD Civil 3D and write the changes back to the CSD objects using this command
Details
After using the Civil 3D Profiles command and editing the profile levels, select this command to write these changes back to the CSD objects and update all other AutoCAD Civil 3D Profiles that are affected by the profile changes made by the designer.
Changes made to one Profile can impact on other Road profile levels (in the case of a side/crossing road), kerb returns, cul-de-sacs, knuckles and any other dependent objects. Using this command ensures synchronisation between dependent profiles.
Users are able to edit profiles directly in Civil 3D and use this command to insert all the intersection controls.
