OSpec Settings and Configuration
Managing Settings Files and Editing Fields
When you install Stringer OSpec you will get a number of CSV files that make up the forms being installed in
C:\ProgramData\CSS\Stringer CAD 201?\OSpec
In here there is a SAMPLE folder containing standard CSV files for Stringer OSpec. If you want to change these CSV files, copy the SAMPLE folder and give it a new name. Once you have done this you can then edit the CSV files in the copied folder.
When you go to use Stringer OSpec for the first time it will ask you to nominate a folder e.g. Civil Survey Solutions and will use the CSV files in this folder. This is required as some councils differ in their requirements and multiple folders may be needed.
Important Note: When a new build of OSpec is done any new CSV files in the SAMPLE folder will override the OLD CSV files. The copied Folder with the new name will stay the same. The formatting of the the CSV files is important - adding extra columns and renaming or rearranging fields may stop the field controls from working.
