Introduction
The Civil Site Design software requires the Designer to set how they want the software to perform for a particular drawing (project). The 'default' Global Drawing Settings are used to populate the Active Drawing Settings for any new project using the software.
The data entry for the Global Drawing Settings match the Active Drawing Setting with the following exceptions:
- the ability to save different global settings files
- the Design Settings area will have limited editing controls (since this is project specific)
The Global Drawing Settings are saved in a permanent location and can be loaded in as pre-set settings to any local drawing (note that some parameters, such as the kerb direction, are set upon starting a project). The Settings folder is able to be opened via the Open Settings Folder command on the General Ribbon tab.
