Batch Print

Introduction

This command will allow for direct digital publication (.pdf or image file) of all layouts in the drawing.

The command simplifies and streamlines the assignment of key page setup controls and is an alternative to the publish command.

Note: The Batch Print command assumes that the orientation is always set to Portrait in the plot settings.

Details

Upon selecting the command the following form is displayed:

Device Name
Pick a plot output from the print devices listed in the CAD application
Note: Batch Print will not execute a physical media print to a plotter in the office - only digital file creation is supported

Media Name
Select a sheet to publish from the available sheets supported by the selected device.
Note: the default plot orientation is Portrait, so default page size should be height x width (eg: A1: 594mm x 841mm)

Rotate 90 degrees
This will rotate the selected media (sheet) by 90 degrees

File Extension
Type in the file extension for the device selected (eg: pdf)

Output Directory
Information panel showing the path for the created file/s. Use the edit button to pick a path for output.

Layouts
Displays a list of all layouts created in the drawing

Select
Pick whether to output each named layout

Layout Name

Name of layout (uneditable)

Filename

Filename for created file - edit as required

Plot
Output the layout/s to file/s

Cancel

Exit the form
